Mr. Bekkedahl is an attorney with the law firm of Patten, Peterman, Bekkedahl & Green, P.L.L.C. where he practices in the areas of estate planning, trusts, taxation, closely-held business and probate.  He is a member of the State Bar of Montana, the American Bar Association, the State Bar Association of North Dakota, and the State Bar of Arizona.  He is also a member of the Business, Estate, Trust, Tax and Real Property Section of the Montana State Bar (Member: Uniform Trust Code Committee); the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the North Dakota Bar; the Probate and Trust and Tax Law sections of the Arizona Bar; and the Tax and Real Property sections of the American Bar Association.  He is a Fellow of American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (Member: Asset Protection Committee and Fiduciary Income Tax Committee) and a frequent speaker on estate and trust topics.  Mr. Bekkedahl graduated from Rocky Mountain College (B.S. - 1976), the University of Montana School of Law (J.D. - 1981) and from the University of Denver (LL.M. in Taxation - 1986).
